The Replacements

The Washington Sentinels have a problem. If it wasn't enough that they weren't one of the happening teams in the NFL, their players had gone on strike. Not wanting to be blackmailed, the management calls on self retired ex-coach Jimmy McGinty to take on the team. His first recruit is Shane Falco, who is a brilliant player, disillusioned by a game that ended his career. Instilling in him a new confidence, the coach starts off building his new team from the scratch - with surprising results.
