What A Girl Wants

If there's one thing that Daphne wants, it's a father. After being single-handedly raised by her mother, Libby, Daphne finds out that she is the love child of Libby and an Englishman. That Englishman, Sir Henry Dashwood, is now a rich British politician running for office. Daphne flies to London in an attempt to reconnect with her father. She has comic encounters with stuffy English society, including her father's very competitive girlfriend and her equally competitive daughter. Her father's scheming adviser also feels that the revelation of Daphne's existence could cost Sir Henry the election. Can this American girl find love and happiness as the daughter of a wealthy English lord?
