The Legend of Shen Li (VOICE)

Shen Li is forced into an arranged marriage with someone from the Immortal Realm. To escape her fate, she flees and is injured in the process. She falls to the Mortal Realm and transforms into a phoenix, where she is mistaken for a chicken. Xing Yun, a kind-hearted mortal, rescues Shen Li.

Xing Yun helps a student avoid a fire by mentioning it to him. Xing Yun gets in a wager with a fortune teller and wins money and meat. A soldier's wife named Yun Niang asks Xing Yun to find her husband who went missing in the war over ten years ago.

Shen Li and Xing Yun help them reunite, but Zhou San Lang has stayed by Yun Niang's side for too long, and it has affected her lifespan. Shen Li decides to tell them the truth and let them decide for themselves, whether to stay or to leave. In the end, Zhou San Lang decides to leave.

As their relationship grows, Shen Li begins to develop feelings for Xing Yun. However, their happiness is threatened when Gu Cheng Rui, the eldest young master of Qingsheng City, learns of Xing Yun's ability to predict the future.

Xiao He discovers a secret chamber under Gu Cheng Jin's study. To stop Gu Cheng Rui from returning, Xing Yun sets up a protective formation in the courtyard. Gu Cheng Rui attacks at midnight and sets fire to the courtyard. Shen Li protects the area and escapes with Xing Yun.

Shen Li advises Xiao He to leave, but Xiao He insists on seeing Gu Cheng Jin. They take her to him, where they see Gu Cheng Jin protecting Ye Shi. Xiao He sacrifices herself to save Gu Cheng Jin. Shen Li is angry and says she would never let a man deceive her.

Shen Li is brought back to the Spiritual Realm after a month confinement. Xing Yun has died in the meantime. She declares her unwavering affection for him and refuses to seek him in his next life. Meanwhile, an unwanted marriage between Shen Li and a person from Immortal Realm is arranged.

Xutian Abyss anomaly! General Zi Xia dies investigating. Shen Li defies orders, joins battle against escaped monster. Monster overpowers everyone, Shen Li sacrifices herself to win.

Shen Li recovers from her injuries thanks to Divine Lord Xing Zhi’s treatment. Together they travel to the Xutian Abyss to strengthen the five-element seals. Shen Li observes Xing Zhi and notices that he is cold and emotionless, unlike her mortal self Xing Yun.

Shen Li and Xing Zhi travel to the bottom of a lake where Xing Zhi awakens the Water Seal. Shen Li witnesses Xing Zhi’s power again and realizes that he was teasing her earlier. They continue to the Earth Seal and after Xing Zhi reinforces it, Shen Li feels unwell from the miasma within Xutian Abyss

After defeating a ghoul, Shen Li is celebrated. Fearing her power, Lord Fu Rong creates chaos to cancel their marriage. Shen Li, aware of a growing threat, agrees to the marriage despite her dislike for Fu Rong.

Lord Fu Rong disapproves of Shen Li's marriage and tries to break it off. Xing Zhi defends Shen Li but she scolds him for interfering. Shen Li gets drunk and Mo Fang takes her home, where he encounters Xing Zhi. There is jealousy between the two men.

Shen Li finds Xing Zhi in market & thanks him for returning her weapon. Meanwhile, Fu Rong gets drunk and harasses a server. Shen Li witnesses this, furious, and has the server document it. She asks Xing Zhi to deliver the evidence to the Heavenly Sovereign.

The Heavenly Lord, enraged by Fu Rong's drunken antics, orders his immediate return. Shen Li, meeting Xing Zhi after a night out, questions his actions as jealous behavior, hinting at feelings.

Shen Li and Xing Zhi, guided by Hu Lu, rescue Earth Immortals in Qingya Cave. However, the saved group insults Shen Li for being from the Spiritual Realm. Upset, Shen Li leaves but Xing Zhi defends her.

Xing Zhi has been fighting Feng Lai, who is being controlled, for a few rounds and even got injured by Feng Lai. Shen Li continues fighting Feng Lai and finally defeats Feng Lai by working with Xing Zhi. Feng Lai wakes up and flies away after regaining his conscience.

Shen Li is pushed out of Xutian Abyss by Feng Lai. Later, Xing Zhi also reemerges from Xutian Abyss, but he is already seriously injured and on the brink of death. Xing Zhi tells Shen Li that there is no reason for god to exist anymore. Shen Li is sad and hopes Xing Zhi can stay.
